    Chapter 106: You Lost!

On the big screen, the images of the match were displayed.

Amidst compliments, Jia Tong spat provocatively towards Shen Fei.

    “Fck, you…”

Jiang Tiancheng couldn’t take it anymore, raising his fist, about to strike Jia Tong.

But Shen Fei stopped him, gently patting Jiang Tiancheng’s shoulder, his face cold as he removed his jacket and tossed it into the trash.

Shen Fei had no interest in dealing with someone who was about to be beaten, someone who might even face a life-threatening situation.

Even though he wasn’t sure if anything had happened to Duan Guxiang in his past life when the same incident happened at Junyue Pavilion, the one thing he was certain about was that tonight, things were bound to unfold.

Jia Tong, who was the trigger for the conflict, and the girl he had scolded, were both here in the hall.

Shen Fei could have defused the situation, but after seeing Jia Tong’s behavior, he no longer felt like helping.

Based on the speculations in his previous life on the internet, Jia Tong had managed to avoid consequences only because Jin Liyao and Zhou Zhengji were pushed out by him. Meanwhile, Jia Tong himself took advantage of the chaos and escaped the hall.

Shen Fei observed the situation in the hall with amusement.

No matter what, he was determined to take Jin Liyao and Zhou Zhengji with him tonight.

As for Jia Tong, he not only wouldn’t help him, but he also intended to cut off Jia Tong’s escape route.

“Mr. Jia, when it comes to shamelessness, you’re still the best!”

Shen Fei didn’t want to argue with someone on the verge of dying, but that didn’t mean he was going to let Jia Tong off easily.

After throwing his jacket into the trash, Shen Fei chuckled, his eyes full of disdain.

    “You!”

Jia Tong, who was directly rebuffed by Shen Fei, was about to snap, but then he calmed down and said, “I won’t argue with you. I just don’t know when the first goal will be scored.”

He coldly stared at Shen Fei. What did it matter? Someone about to lose their dignity, what was left to get angry about?

“Mr. Jia, you’re overestimating me. I don’t know anything about football!” Shen Fei smiled.

“Then why did you bet with me?” Jia Tong asked, surprised.

“My sixth sense is pretty strong!” Shen Fei raised an eyebrow.

“Sixth sense?” Jia Tong sneered in disdain. “You really are a classic gambler, relying on sixth sense to play this game with me!”

Just as Jia Tong was feeling smug, the football match on the big screen saw the German team score the first goal.

    Jia Tong froze.

    “Goal, goal!”

Jiang Tiancheng, Hu Yuantai, and Duan Guxiang cheered excitedly.

The game had just started, and within a few minutes, a goal was scored, making for a thrilling opening.

“It’s just one goal, why are you all so excited? As if you’ve never seen a game before!” Jia Tong sarcastically remarked, though deep inside, he was starting to feel uneasy.

He had a feeling that he might lose.

“Yeah, at least six goals need to be scored, and you have to lose with a clear conscience!” Shen Fei said with a smirk, looking at Jia Tong.

Jia Tong shot a meaningful glance at Shen Fei, rare silence falling upon him.

    Still, his unease didn’t dissipate.

Five minutes later, the German team scored again.

Now the score was 2:0 in favor of the Germans.

Ten minutes later, the French team scored due to a mistake by the German forward.

    The score was now 2:1.

Twenty-five minutes later, the Germans scored again.

    The score became 3:1.

    The match was heating up.

Within half an hour, there had already been four goals.

Jia Tong’s expression grew darker, his hands clenched tightly in his lap, clearly struggling with his anger.

Four goals—this was the result of the first half.

Jia Tong had lost his calm composure.

The German team’s attacks were intense, and with such a commanding lead, they weren’t going to let the French team off easily.

In the second half, it wouldn’t be difficult for the Germans to score two more goals.

This thought made Jia Tong’s emotions even more restless.

He could accept losing to Shen Fei, this hopeless gambler. At least he could blame it on Shen Fei’s luck.

But losing to Jiang Tiancheng, Hu Yuantai, and especially Duan Guxiang—that, he couldn’t accept.

After the halftime break, the match resumed.

Not long after, the French team launched a fierce counterattack and scored the first goal of the second half.

    The score was now 3:2.

In just over forty minutes, five goals had already been scored.

“Fck, how are they playing this?” Jia Tong suddenly snapped, his face filled with anger.

“Mr. Jia, what’s the rush? You still need two more goals, right? Otherwise, how can you accept defeat?” Before Shen Fei could speak, Jiang Tiancheng quickly retorted.

This was like rubbing salt in the wound.

But Jia Tong had to hold back his anger.

    Twenty more minutes!

In such a short time, scoring two more goals was out of the question.

Even just one goal would be difficult.

Thinking that, Jia Tong’s mood slowly calmed down.

He absolutely couldn’t let Jiang Tiancheng sense his anxiety.

“Young Master Jiang is right! Let’s see if these two teams can score those two goals in the remaining 20 minutes!”

He forced himself to remain calm.

“Let’s wait and see!” Jiang Tiancheng raised an eyebrow and teased.

Ignoring Jiang Tiancheng’s provocation, Jia Tong nervously stared at the screen.

Just four minutes later, the German team attacked again and scored, bringing the score to 4:2.

Now there were six goals in total.

This alone made the score equal, putting Shen Fei, Jiang Tiancheng, and the others on equal footing with Jia Tong.

Everyone turned to look at Jia Tong, who had initiated the bet.

The once arrogant heir of Tongle Group now had his eyes wide open, breathing heavily through his nose.

“Heh, looks like Mr. Jia won’t be so lucky after all. Guess we’ll be making him kneel now!” Jiang Tiancheng mocked, his voice sharp.

This brought Jia Tong back to reality.

Furious and embarrassed, Jia Tong snapped, “This is just a tie. It doesn’t mean you’ve won!”

“There’s still more than ten minutes left. If it comes to it, we’ll all just settle for a tie!”

Shen Fei smiled lightly, his lips curling into a faint smile.

“Mr. Jia, don’t be in such a hurry. Let’s keep watching!” Shen Fei said softly.

At that moment, Duan Guxiang, Jin Liyao, and Zhou Zhengji all looked at Shen Fei differently.

It was mainly because every time Shen Fei spoke, it seemed to give them a shock.

Furthermore, Jiang Tiancheng had mentioned that his father greatly trusted Shen Fei’s judgments, which made the three of them regard Shen Fei with more respect.

And that “sixth sense” technique— it was just too uncanny.

On this side, five more minutes passed.

The German team scored again, bringing the score to 5:2.

In the remaining time, the Germans launched another fierce attack and scored two more goals.

A total of nine goals in one match.

The audience in the stadium and the second-generation rich in the hall were no longer calm.

“Mr. Jia, you lost!” Shen Fei said softly.
