Reborn-After-C54
by MarineTLChapter 54: The Tough One!
At the Windmill Kindergarten.
It was just about the time for school to end.
The kindergarten gate was already packed with high-end private cars, making it impossible for anyone to pass through.
Although these cars were not as luxurious as those at a prestigious kindergarten, they were still a few levels above the average kindergarten.
There were quite a few Mercedes-Benz and Audis.
Shen Jiayue stood alone in a small corner by the kindergarten gate.
Watching the other children excitedly climb into their cars, she yawned, feeling somewhat bored.
Her expression was calm, not like a typical three-year-old.
She had gotten used to this life.
Since her mother was always the last one to pick her up, Shen Jiayue wasn’t in a hurry either.
“Shen Jiayue, you’re just a wild child with no dad!!!”
At that moment, a few mocking voices came from behind her.
Shen Jiayue turned around angrily and glared at the group.
She saw a chubby kid and several other kids who had gathered around.
“Zhou Xingxing, I think you want to be hit again!” Shen Jiayue frowned, glaring at Zhou Xingxing with a fierce look.
When Zhou Xingxing heard the words “be hit,” he froze.
This afternoon at 2 PM, during the first painting class after nap time, he asked Shen Jiayue to lend him a pencil, but she refused.
Zhou Xingxing got angry and grabbed Shen Jiayue’s little braid, but Shen Jiayue wasn’t so easy to mess with.
If the teacher hadn’t come in late, Zhou Xingxing would have probably been crying for his mom by now.
“My dad is Shen Fei! He’s super handsome! If you say that again, I’ll hit you every time I see you!” Shen Jiayue said, shaking her small fist in the air.
Thinking back to the beating earlier, Zhou Xingxing shivered, but seeing the other kids behind him, he instantly regained his confidence.
“Shen Jiayue, no dad! Shen Jiayue, no dad!!!” Zhou Xingxing said proudly, repeating that Shen Jiayue had no dad.
Since getting hit in the afternoon, he had been dissatisfied and now found an opportunity to vent his anger.
“You deserve a beating!” Shen Jiayue immediately rushed toward Zhou Xingxing, like an angry lion.
Although Zhou Xingxing was chubby, he didn’t have much strength.
With a push from Shen Jiayue, he fell to the ground.
Shen Jiayue wasn’t satisfied and climbed on top of Zhou Xingxing, raising her little fist and punching him.
“You’re talking nonsense! Let’s see if you dare say it next time!”
“I have a dad! Yueyue has a dad! Yueyue’s dad is Shen Fei!” Shen Jiayue said, her punches weak and soft.
Still, Zhou Xingxing began crying loudly, and as he cried, he called for help.
“Woo woo woo~ You guys, help me!”
“Woo~ Dawang, Erdai, Sanmao, are you guys even my friends? Come and hit her!” Zhou Xingxing cried.
The three other kids, hearing their names called, hesitated when they saw how “ferocious” Shen Jiayue was.
“If you help him, I’ll hit you too next time!” Shen Jiayue stopped punching, stood up, and pointed at the three other kids.
At this moment, Shen Jiayue was no longer the obedient girl she was in front of Shen Fei and Han Xinyan.
The three kids, threatened by her, took several steps back.
The plan to teach Shen Jiayue a lesson at the end of the day was completely forgotten.
Zhou Xingxing, still lying on the ground, saw his friends retreat and cried even louder.
He was scared, but still spoke harshly.
“Shen Jiayue, I’m going to tell the teacher! You hit people!”
“Woo woo woo, I’m going to tell my mom, let my mom teach you a lesson!”
“You don’t have a dad! Your mom rides a broken electric bike, what are you so proud of!”
“Shen Jiayue, you’re tough, why don’t you fight me one-on-one!” Zhou Xingxing said with a smug look on his face.
A three-year-old child had no concept of adult-level intricacies.
When Shen Jiayue heard Zhou Xingxing mention her parents, she kicked him harder.
The noise caught the attention of most of the parents and children nearby.
Just then, the two children’s homeroom teacher, Sun Xiao, rushed out of the kindergarten.
She quickly stopped Shen Jiayue and helped Zhou Xingxing, who was crying loudly, up.
“Yueyue, didn’t the teacher tell you that hitting others is wrong? Why did you hit Zhou Xingxing? Why did you do that?”
After speaking, Sun Xiao glanced at Zhou Xingxing, still crying.
This child was known for his mischievous behavior throughout the kindergarten.
His family had some influence, and his father was some kind of boss who recently bought an Audi.
He liked to show off to the other kids whenever he could.
This kind of behavior made the teachers feel quite sad.
At just four years old, he was already used to bullying others and flaunting his wealth.
As his homeroom teacher, Sun Xiao had tried various methods to correct his behavior, but to little avail.
The reason was obvious—it was because of Zhou Xingxing’s mother!
Helpless, she had given up.
As for the scuffle between the two children, she didn’t need to think much about it. It was definitely Zhou Xingxing who provoked Shen Jiayue, and that’s why Shen Jiayue hit him.
“Teacher Sun, Shen Jiayue likes to hit people! I don’t want to be in the same class as her! I’m going to tell my mom and get Shen Jiayue transferred!” Zhou Xingxing said angrily.
When Shen Jiayue heard this, her small fist rose again.
Zhou Xingxing immediately ran behind Sun Xiao.
Sun Xiao looked at Shen Jiayue with a gentle expression. “Yueyue, it’s wrong to hit people, okay?”
Shen Jiayue pouted, her big eyes filled with tears as she said, “He said I don’t have a dad! Yueyue has a dad!”
After hearing Shen Jiayue’s side of the story, Sun Xiao frowned.
This kid really deserves a beating!
“Why are you saying that? What’s wrong with you? Where’s your dad? Why isn’t he picking you up? It’s always your mom doing it!”
“My mom said she won’t let me play with kids who don’t have a dad!” Zhou Xingxing proudly said.
“Zhou Xingxing, shut up!” Sun Xiao scolded loudly.
She had met Shen Jiayue’s father, Shen Fei, a few days ago, and he seemed very sincere, so her impression of him was good.
If Zhou Xingxing’s mother was still resentful of Shen Fei due to the parent-child activity last year, she could understand that.
But how could adult matters involve an innocent child?
Suddenly, there was a sharp screech of brakes.
A black Audi pulled up smoothly at the kindergarten gate.
A woman, dressed in gold and silver with heavy makeup, and quite plump, stepped out of the car.
“Xingxing, my precious son!”
“Mom, Shen Jiayue hit me! She punched me a thousand times! Woo woo woo, it hurts so much!” Zhou Xingxing ran over to hug the woman, his face filled with grievance.
Upon hearing this, Sun Xiao’s expression turned grave.
This was bad!
Zhou Xingxing’s mom was a tough one!
