    Chapter 133: Three Hundred Million!

While the antique appraisal experts were preparing their tools,

Huang Jing returned to the office, holding his phone.

“Mr. Jiang, Mr. Shen, the chairman has approved the 30 million deal!” Huang Jing said with a smile.

“Indeed, Wan Ze Group works efficiently!” Shen Fei praised.

“Mr. Shen is too kind! But since you’re here today with three pieces of treasure, that means each of these has its own story, right?” Huang Jing asked, his playful demeanor replaced by a serious expression.

“Yes! But Mr. Huang will have to wait a moment as your appraisal experts are still getting their tools.” Shen Fei replied calmly, maintaining an air of mystery.

“Alright!” Huang Jing replied, trying to suppress his eagerness. Even though the chairman had entrusted him to handle the matter, he still felt anxious.

At that moment, the group of appraisers returned to the office, bringing with them various archaeological tools.

“What’s this for?” Huang Jing asked, confused.

“Mr. Huang, Mr. Shen asked us to prepare the appraisal tools. We thought since these antiques are valuable, they deserve careful examination, so we brought everything we could find!” one of the experts explained.

Huang Jing nodded in agreement. If there was truly something special about these items, they needed to be treated with care.

“Alright! Everything is ready, let’s start the reveal! These two antiques are here, let’s begin!” Shen Fei said with satisfaction.

“Okay! Let’s follow Mr. Shen’s lead and start!” Without waiting for Huang Jing’s command, the group of appraisers immediately got to work.

For the older experts, they had handled more antiques than the younger ones had ever seen, so they were naturally frustrated by the younger man’s doubts. With their egos bruised by the recent incident with the golden jade pig dragon, they were now determined to prove their judgments were correct. However, they were still cautious when handling the two new items.

” Tiancheng, this may take a while. If you’re busy, you can leave first!” Shen Fei suddenly said.

The reason Shen Fei wanted to send Jiang Tiancheng away was that once these two antiques were identified, he was concerned Tiancheng would keep asking him questions. The golden jade pig dragon, he had heard a little about in his past life, but the vase and the mud sculpture bowl by Shen Wansan were more recent, and he hadn’t paid much attention to them. He couldn’t explain the full story behind them.

“Tiancheng, I’m not busy!” Jiang Tiancheng replied, not noticing Shen Fei’s intention, his eyes glued to the antiques the experts were handling.

“You are busy!” Shen Fei turned to look at Jiang Tiancheng seriously.

“Ah? Fei Ge…” Jiang Tiancheng was caught off guard by Shen Fei’s intense gaze, scratching his head.

“I just remembered, there’s something going on at the company! Yes, I’m very busy!” Realizing Shen Fei’s intention, Jiang Tiancheng quickly added.

“Fei Ge, I’ll take a call!” He said before hurriedly leaving the room.

This scene made Huang Jing feel suspicious, but he hesitated, biting his lip, and redirected his focus back to the antique appraisal.

Shen Fei, feeling bored, lay back on the sofa, hands behind his head, finding a comfortable spot to sit. Meanwhile, the appraisers dived into the antiques with great enthusiasm.

    Twenty minutes later.

“My God!” one of the appraisers exclaimed in shock.

Shen Fei smiled slightly at the sound of the exclamation.

The cry immediately drew the attention of the other appraisers. The mud sculpture bowl, its dirt falling off, revealed a golden part. As time passed, more and more gold was exposed.

Huang Jing and the experts were all intensely focused on the antiques, ignoring the passing time. When they saw the changes in the mud sculpture bowl, Huang Jing’s face displayed a range of emotions. He looked incredulously at Shen Fei, then back at the bowl.

“The bottom of the vase is problematic. Carefully peel it off with a blade!” Shen Fei spoke at the right moment.

After the golden jade pig dragon and the golden bowl, the experts were now fully trusting Shen Fei’s words.

They immediately nodded and carefully began to work on the vase’s base. A thin, almost invisible layer of gel was peeled away. When this happened, the experts gasped in awe.

The base of the vase revealed the imprint of Song Huizong Zhao Ji!

This meant the vase had actually been made by the hand of Song Huizong himself!

Song Huizong’s marks were recognizable, with his “Tian” character written in a distinctive way— the first stroke separated from the next one, signifying “the world’s greatest.”

This was characteristic of Song Huizong’s items, and there were very few surviving porcelain works from him, making this vase even more valuable.

At the same time, the mud sculpture bowl also fully revealed its true form. It was a golden bowl!

“A vase made by Song Huizong of the Song Dynasty, and a golden bowl from the Ming Dynasty by Shen Wansan! Both have immense historical significance! Even if it costs a hundred million, it would still be hard to buy such items!” Shen Fei stood up and smiled at Huang Jing.

“Mr. Huang, how much does your company plan to offer?”

“Th-this… Mr. Shen, how did you know the origins of these treasures?” one of the older experts asked in shock.

“That’s a secret I can’t disclose! But what’s more important is that Wan Ze Group is the one that discovered the true nature of these antiques, not anyone else!” Shen Fei replied with a sly smile.

“But if I hadn’t come today, and someone else discovered these treasures, what would happen to your company? What would happen to these masters? I think you know better than I do.”

“If the things bought for a few hundred thousand end up being worth tens of millions, even billions, how would the public view Wan Ze Group? After this, how can you continue operating in the deep market or in Huaguo? It would be impossible!”

Shen Fei’s words were sharp and deliberate. He subtly shifted the conversation to avoid revealing too much about the origins of the antiques.

“Mr. Shen, how much do you think these antiques are worth?” Huang Jing, no longer concerned with how Shen Fei knew their origins, only wanted to buy these items and save Wan Ze Group’s reputation.

Shen Fei smiled and extended three fingers.

“I’ll go along with things and do a favor—three hundred million!”
