Chapter 302: Launching the Pet Fashion Track

Pang Tao and Xu Zhengming exchanged a glance, then turned simultaneously to the architect standing nearby.

“The overall structure is generally fine, but we need to make some changes to the color scheme and finer details.”

“We’re building a Cat Castle, so the color palette should lean toward warm tones. This white is a bit off.”

“Please go ahead and tell me what needs to be changed. I’ll take notes.”

The architect quickly pulled out a small notebook and a pen, ready to jot everything down.

Seeing the architect’s eager posture, Pang Tao began speaking slowly.

“First, the color scheme. The exterior should be primarily pink, with some complementary tones added in. We can also incorporate some cat-themed patterns.”

“And this clock design—let’s remove it. Replace it with something cat-shaped.”

    “……”

As Pang Tao pointed out the changes, the architect scribbled furiously in his notebook.

After a while, once all the modifications had been explained, the architect hurried off to begin the revisions.

Once he was gone, Pang Tao and Xu Zhengming began walking back.

“Xu-ge, have we been in touch with the other city Rescue Stations for cats and dogs?”

Pang Tao looked over at Xu Zhengming. The construction of the Pet Park was already more than halfway done. Aside from the newly added Cat Castle, most of the buildings were complete.

All that remained were landscaping and the layout of the park’s pathways.

Once construction was finished, it would be time to bring in the animals. But with just the pets from their own Rescue Station, there was no way they could fill a park of this size.

To fully populate the Pet Park, they would need to coordinate with other Rescue Stations to bring in more cats and dogs.

“Yeah, I’ve already contacted a few. They’re willing to send over some of their cats.”

Xu Zhengming nodded. No Rescue Station would turn down the chance to ease their overcrowding problem.

In fact, during his outreach, some stations had even expressed urgency, hoping to send their animals over as soon as possible. The number of stray cats and dogs on their end had already become overwhelming.

“That’s great. Once the Pet Park is finished, we can start bringing them in.”

Pang Tao looked ahead at the completed buildings, his heart filled with anticipation.

He was already imagining the grand opening of the Pet Park, packed with eager visitors.

“It won’t be long now. We should also get in touch with the Clothing Factory and have their designers start working on pet apparel.”

“Once the Pet Park is open, the Pet Fashion Show has to launch immediately. It’s a huge draw. We need to make sure the very first batch of visitors sees it.”

“Only when those first visitors find the Pet Park fun and engaging will they come back a second time, a third time… and recommend it to their friends.”

They happened to be walking past the completed runway area just then.

Looking at the long catwalk in the distance, Xu Zhengming shared his thoughts.

“You’re right, we should reach out in advance. Design and production will take time. How about this—tomorrow, I’ll visit the Clothing Factory in person and discuss it with General Manager Jiang.”

Pang Tao nodded. The Pet Fashion Show was going to be one of the park’s biggest attractions. It had to be taken seriously.

The two of them walked past the runway and arrived at the pet viewing area. The structures here were already built, laid out similarly to a zoo.

However, the surroundings were still barren, with no greenery in sight. The lack of plant life made the area feel lifeless.

Xu Zhengming frowned slightly as he looked around.

“We need to take the landscaping seriously too. In the end, we want to create something like an ecological garden. That way, visitors can enjoy the park in a lush, green environment, which will definitely put them in a better mood.”

“Yeah, I’ve already contacted a landscaping team.”

Pang Tao replied calmly. Landscaping had always been part of the plan.

So once construction was nearly done, he had already reached out to a landscape designer to discuss the details.

    ………

    The next day,

Pang Tao arrived early at Changfeng Garment Factory. But the moment he entered the Industrial Park and saw the scene inside, he was stunned.

He had been to Changfeng Garment Factory a few times before and was familiar with the general layout of the Industrial Park.

Every previous visit, everything had been in order.

But today, the place was filled with dust and smoke. The area that used to be the workshop had already been leveled to the ground.

    What was going on?

Was the Industrial Park being demolished?

Confused, Pang Tao quickly made his way to the Changfeng Garment Factory’s office building.

“President Pang, you should’ve let me know you were coming. I would’ve come out to greet you.”

Jiang Cheng looked a bit surprised to see Pang Tao show up unannounced.

    “No need for formalities.”

Pang Tao waved it off casually. Though they didn’t have much personal interaction, they had sat at the same table during the annual company banquet.

So they were at least somewhat acquainted.

“By the way, when I came in, I noticed that a lot of the workshops in the Industrial Park had already been demolished. Did something happen?”

Recalling the scene he saw outside, Pang Tao asked with a puzzled expression.

“Oh, that,” Jiang Cheng said with a smile. “President Chen bought out those workshops and factory buildings. He’s planning to tear them down and rebuild.”

The matter of reconstructing the workshops had been personally discussed by President Chen himself, so employees from other companies weren’t aware of it.

“President Chen bought up all the workshops that were torn down?”

Thinking about the large area that had already been demolished when he came in, Pang Tao couldn’t help but feel a little moved. That area was probably close to half of the entire Industrial Park.

Hearing Pang Tao’s question, Jiang Cheng shook his head with a smile.

“It’s not just the demolished workshops. President Chen acquired the entire Industrial Park. It’s just that some companies haven’t found suitable new locations yet, so they haven’t moved out.”

“Once all those companies relocate, the entire Industrial Park will be torn down and rebuilt.”

    This…

Already shocked, Pang Tao was now at a complete loss for words after hearing Jiang Cheng’s explanation.

To transform the entire Industrial Park into a Clothing Factory—President Chen was as bold and decisive as ever!

“So, what brings you to the Clothing Factory today, President Pang?”

After briefly discussing the expansion plans for the Clothing Factory, Jiang Cheng asked curiously.

Logically speaking, the Clothing Factory and the Pet Park didn’t have much business overlap, so he wasn’t sure what Pang Tao was doing here today.

Snapping back to his senses, Pang Tao finally remembered the reason he had come.

“Here’s the thing. At Pet Park, we’re planning a Pet Fashion Show. And since it’s a fashion show, it naturally involves clothing design. I was thinking, since our Clothing Factory specializes in branded apparel and has its own team of designers, maybe we could invite your designers to create some outfits for pets.”

“Actually, I was also thinking that the Clothing Factory could consider opening up a new line for pet fashion.”
