Chapter 179: The Online Store Plan

About half an hour later, the three of them finally settled the details for the live stream.

“Let’s go, we’re heading to the workshop now.”

Wu Yu stood up and led the way out of the Business Department.

Upon arriving at the workshop, they found the person in charge of packaging and collected a set of various clothing types.

    The live stream began.

Wu Yu started broadcasting and took a quick tour of the workshop to warm up the audience.

Once the viewership hit over 300 people, Wu Yu knew it was time.

“Hello, everyone. We’ve finished the workshop tour. Today, we have a special segment to showcase the clothing styles from our Clothing Factory.”

    “Want to see the doghouses?”

“Sure, I’ll finish showing the clothing styles first, then I’ll show you the doghouses.”

About an hour later, Wu Yu finally turned off the live stream in front of the doghouses, lost in thought.

If he were to evaluate the success of this live stream, it wouldn’t be that great. He hadn’t signed a single agent.

But on the other hand, the number of people in the live stream peaked at over 700.

However, despite the growing numbers, none of the viewers had inquired about becoming an agent.

The comments were basically split into two categories.

One group wanted to see the doghouses, while the other kept asking about the prices of the clothes and where to buy them.

    That’s right.

While they were showcasing the clothing from Clothing Factory, no one paid attention to the agent recruitment, even though Wu Yu had been trying hard to steer the conversation in that direction. But nothing came of it.

Most people just kept asking where to buy the clothes.

Wu Yu suddenly realized that the ultimate goal of recruiting agents was to sell the clothes.

Wouldn’t it be more efficient to just sell the clothes online directly?

The more he thought about it, the more feasible it seemed. He could simply register as a seller on a platform and start selling during the live stream.

Then, he could connect with a delivery service, and that would be it!

But this still needed approval. Since President Chen wasn’t around, Assistant Shen was currently managing the company’s affairs.

Wu Yu wasn’t sure if Assistant Shen would approve this idea.

After all, no matter how he looked at it, Assistant Shen’s judgment couldn’t match that of President Chen.

If he brought this up with President Chen, he was sure President Chen would see the potential of this idea at a glance and approve it right away.

But as for Assistant Shen, Wu Yu wasn’t sure.

However, he decided to give it a try. If Assistant Shen didn’t approve, he would just have to wait until President Chen returned.

He headed to the Boss’s Office and knocked before entering.

Assistant Shen looked up as Wu Yu walked in and asked, “What’s up?”

“Assistant Shen, there’s something I’d like to get your approval on.”

Wu Yu hesitated for a moment before speaking slowly.

    “Sit down and talk.”

Assistant Shen gestured to the chair in front of the desk, mimicking President Chen’s usual manner of handling things.

    “Here’s the thing, today…”

Wu Yu explained the live stream and online store idea in detail.

Assistant Shen listened attentively, her expression thoughtful.

The live stream could increase the visibility of Clothing Factory and potentially bring in agents.

If they registered as a seller, they could directly sell Clothing Factory’s clothes through the live stream.

And since this would be direct sales from the manufacturer, the profit from selling the clothes would clearly be higher.

What was more crucial was that Clothing Factory had only signed one agent so far, and that agent was still in the process of setting up the store. To actually start selling clothes, they would need to wait for some time.

But the workshop was already full of inventory, and if they didn’t start selling, the warehouse would soon be overflowing.

So Wu Yu’s suggestion, when you thought about it, was very beneficial for Clothing Factory at this stage.

After thinking it through, she looked up at Wu Yu.

“This proposal is feasible. You can go back and prepare a plan and submit it.”

“Assistant Shen, so you approve it?” Wu Yu asked with surprise.

    “Yes, I approve it.”

    Assistant Shen nodded.

Leaving the office, Wu Yu couldn’t help but feel impressed. No wonder President Chen had trusted Assistant Shen with the company’s affairs—her judgment was spot on.

He thought to himself as he quickly returned to the Business Department to begin preparing the plan.

    Friday,

    Nanhe Coffee Shop.

Song Xia and Su Dan gathered all the Coffee Shop staff together.

“Let’s brainstorm and see if anyone has ideas on how to increase customer traffic.”

Su Dan scanned the crowd and spoke slowly.

“How about lowering prices? I’ve noticed that most customers don’t buy because they think it’s too expensive.”

“We could also do some promotional activities, like offering discount coupons.”

    “……”

Several staff members chimed in, all of them eager to find a solution. After all, this Coffee Shop was one of the best places they could work, and they didn’t want to see it struggle.

Su Dan listened to their suggestions, furrowing her brows.

Most of these ideas were about cutting prices or offering discounts, but President Chen had made it clear that this wasn’t an option.

“How about opening a Coffee Shop with a unique theme?”

“A unique theme?” Su Dan looked toward the speaker, Zhou Mei, who loved cosplay.

    Zhou Mei grinned.

“A unique theme means something different. Don’t you think all the Coffee Shops around are too stiff? What if we had the waitresses wear cosplay outfits? Wouldn’t that be unique?”

“For example, cat girls, bunny girls… something like that. Wouldn’t it attract attention?”

“I even have a name: Nanhe Coffee, Maid Café.”

Su Dan listened to Zhou Mei’s suggestion and didn’t give an immediate response.

Zhou Mei’s idea was the only one with real creativity, but Su Dan wasn’t too familiar with the cosplay scene. She decided to go back and learn more about it before making a decision.

Just then, the door to the Coffee Shop opened, and two customers walked in.

Su Dan dispersed the staff who had gathered together and saw Song Xia walking over to greet them.

    “Pang Ge, Xu Ge.”

Song Xia looked at Pang Tao and Xu Zhengming, who had just walked in, with surprise.

She had met both of them before when she went with Chen Mo to donate dog food.

She also knew that President Chen had invested in a Pet Park project, and these two were in charge of it.

However, she wasn’t sure what they were doing here at the Coffee Shop today.

“Teacher Su, this is Pang Tao and Xu Zhengming, the heads of the Pet Park project that President Chen invested in.”

“And this is Teacher Su, Su Dan, who, like me, is the person in charge of Nanhe Coffee.”

Song Xia made a brief introduction.

    “Hello, Teacher Su.”

Pang Tao and Xu Zhengming quickly greeted her, then smiled and spoke.

“We’re here mainly to congratulate you on the opening of your new store, but we’re a bit late, so please don’t mind.”
