by MarineTLChapter 327: How Furious Will Old Morgan Be When Su Ming Deduces the Poker Organization?
An engraved symbol?
The detail Su Ming had noticed quickly drew the attention of everyone present.
Without the slightest hesitation, Chen Sheng immediately rewound the video on the projection screen and paused it, then zoomed in on the punk man’s hand that was gripping Little Morgan’s hair.
Just as Su Ming had said.
It was now clearly visible… the metallic reflection revealed a distinct mark.
Next, they zoomed in on the ring to its maximum magnification, and suddenly discovered that the metallic glint actually formed the shape of an English letter—J.
That letter made everyone in the room freeze for a moment.
Standing nearby, Lin Tian narrowed his eyes thoughtfully, sniffed his fingers, and muttered in confusion.
“J?”
“Why would that punk guy be wearing a ring engraved with the letter J? Could it be his name or a code name?”
“And considering how close he is with K, even willing to help cover up the murder of someone like Little Morgan, immediately locking down the information within a limited circle…”
“One is called K, the other J. Feels like there’s definitely a connection we don’t know about.”
Su Ming nodded slightly in agreement with Lin Tian’s speculation. Then, tapping lightly on the table, he made a bold deduction.
“Actually, I have a rather daring theory.”
“What if K didn’t just create that drug trafficking organization, but also belongs to another special overseas organization?”
“Based on the intel we previously uncovered… K spent a significant amount of time abroad, and he even brought Priest in as a cornerstone of the drug trafficking organization.”
“So, by my estimation, K must have had some kind of network overseas.”
“Also, everyone should remember—besides this J who runs nightclubs and pimps, there’s also someone involved in running a casino who has very close ties with K.”
“In the drug trafficking organization, Qu Pengfei, codenamed Doctor, was pulled into the group because of that casino, and then there’s Ghost.”
“Ghost used cheating techniques to win fifty million at the casino, and was later hunted down relentlessly. But K, in order to help J, actually managed to persuade the casino boss to call off the hit on Ghost. That kind of favor doesn’t come from a casual relationship.”
“If that casino boss is also a member of the overseas organization K belongs to, then it all makes sense.”
“In the United States, there’s a massive criminal network, and the masterminds behind it are all members of the same organization as K, each engaged in various gray-area activities.”
“K represents drugs. J is involved in the sex trade. So the member who runs the casino—could their codename be Q?”
As soon as those words were spoken,
Chen Sheng’s face lit up with sudden realization. He quickly picked up the thread and said seriously,
“Sex, gambling, and drugs!”
“If we categorize them that way, J represents sex, K is drugs, then the one involved in gambling would logically be Q.”
“Because, based on this theory, the overseas organization K belongs to uses letters or poker cards as code names for its members.”
“If they used all 26 letters, the organization would be bloated, hard to manage, and prone to mistakes. It wouldn’t be able to maintain secrecy or function effectively.”
“But if they use poker cards, the number of members is cut in half, and the hierarchy becomes much clearer. K would definitely be a high-ranking member of the U.S. criminal organization, but not the founder.”
“From my experience dealing with these kinds of criminal organizations, anyone capable of building such a massive network wouldn’t abandon their original power base to come all the way from the United States to our Dragon Country. So it’s safe to assume K isn’t the founder of that U.S. criminal organization, but rather a defector trying to start his own criminal empire.”
“But he never truly cut ties with the original organization. That’s why he helped J cover things up, and why he could convince the person who might be codenamed Q to stop hunting Ghost.”
“Think about it—besides the thirteen cards from A to K used as code names for members, there must be even more ruthless and extreme founders behind the scenes.”
“If K were to return to the United States, he’d most likely go back to that organization, regroup, and look for a better opportunity to rise again.”
Clearly,
As an experienced detective, Chen Sheng had already pieced together a rough picture of the organization based on Su Ming and Lin Tian’s earlier analysis.
Of course, all of this was still speculative, a theory built from the current available information.
Su Ming narrowed his eyes slightly, continued tapping the table, and said with meaning,
“If things really are as we suspect, then this might actually be a good thing.”
“An organization this massive, with such a wide-reaching influence in drug trafficking… even if Old Morgan were to pull every string he has, I doubt the police in the United States alone could manage to bring J to justice.”
“Besides, if we send over the video of Little Morgan being tortured, I imagine… punishing just J won’t be enough to quench the fury burning in Old Morgan’s heart.”
“At that point, with just a little push from us, a bit of fanning the flames, and showcasing the results of our investigation into the Drug Trafficking Organization founded by K, we’ll have a real shot at achieving something that’s nearly impossible through normal means—launching a legal, international manhunt.”
“And that… is our most important goal right now.”
“Reaching this conclusion has only made the urgency and importance of capturing K even more apparent.”
“Backed by the much larger Organization that trained him, K won’t go down easily. He certainly won’t give up on the enormous drug market in Dragon Country. It’s only a matter of time before he resurfaces.”
“The importance of an international pursuit no longer needs to be explained.”
At this point, Su Ming paused for a couple of seconds, then pointed at the projection screen and continued.
“Chief Chen, go ahead and play it.”
“Let’s see how Little Morgan died in the end… and just how enraged Old Morgan is going to be.”
Upon hearing this, Chen Sheng didn’t hesitate any longer. He immediately clicked the play button to resume the paused video.
The footage continued.
Little Morgan, gripped by the hair, was visibly terrified. His face was frozen in fear, his expression pleading and desperate.
But unfortunately for him…
The punk man—J—clearly had no intention of letting him go.
One hand gripped Little Morgan’s hair tightly, while the other reached into his pocket and pulled out a handgun. Holding it by the magazine, he began smashing it into Little Morgan’s face.
He struck him dozens of times. Blood poured down Little Morgan’s face, his features mangled beyond recognition. Teeth shattered and scattered. Only then did J coldly stop, before kicking him to the ground.
Then, he waved over a few of his men.
One of them stepped forward holding a thick burlap sack. Without a word, they stuffed Little Morgan inside. The others began picking up rocks, iron bars, and other heavy objects, and started hurling them into the sack with brutal force.
Blood soon seeped through the fabric. Only then did they finally stop.
J gave the sack another kick. When there was no movement from within, he spat on it with disinterest, then pointed toward the waters of New York Harbor, fenced off behind them.
The final part of the video showed several men lifting the blood-soaked sack and tossing it straight into the harbor.
At that moment, as the video ended, Su Ming raised an eyebrow thoughtfully and swept his gaze across the room.
“What do you think Old Morgan will feel, seeing his only grandson thrown into the sea… after being tortured like that before he died? How furious… will he be?”
………
P.S.: Thank you all for your well wishes. Finally done with the wedding—it was exhausting!
