    Chapter 152: Lawyer Tang’s Work

    “How do we perform?”

    Xu Zhengming asked, puzzled.

“Of course I mean pet performances. Actually, dogs are quite smart, especially Border Collies. We can hire a few pet trainers to provide targeted training for some pets and prepare a few shows.”

“Of course, if the pet performances become too monotonous, we can intersperse other types of performances. The main point is that we can’t have visitors come to the pet park and feel it’s boring.”

    Pang Tao spoke seriously.

Xu Zhengming nodded upon hearing this. The plan did seem feasible, and he immediately thought of another way to make the park more fun.

“If we’re talking about adding some fun, I have a suggestion too.”

“We could set up an entertainment-focused pet training area, put in some training equipment, and allow visitors to bring their own pets to come play and exercise.”

Pang Tao’s eyes lit up at the suggestion. No matter how interesting sightseeing is, it doesn’t beat the sense of participation that comes from personally playing with your own pet.

Just like that, the two seemed to have opened a floodgate of ideas and began discussing excitedly in the office.

    …………

    Cangxue Games,

Wei Yan and Zhao Bowen sat in the office discussing matters.

“Director Wei, the last round of game reforms was a great success. Around 80% of the new players brought in by traffic diversion have now become regular players.”

“Also, the reform made gold-farming players much more active. A lot of studios have moved in, and now we’ve even got a stable group of professional gold farmers.”

“The new race, Beastmen, has also successfully launched with great feedback. Some players have even developed new playstyles based on the Beastmen’s skills.”

    “……”

Zhao Bowen excitedly talked about the recent internal changes in Tianlong.

Wei Yan nodded. After a long period of study, he had gained a decent understanding of the gaming industry.

At the moment, Tianlong was steadily progressing in a positive direction.

“Mm, now that Tianlong is relatively stable, we can start making the compensation outfits we previously promised to noble players. Also, let’s design a special outfit set to gift to longtime players. These sets should be labeled as limited editions once released and never reissued.”

“Also, aside from those, we can design a few outfit sets to be dropped by world bosses to boost player enthusiasm for boss fights. But those sets definitely shouldn’t be easy to obtain.”

“I understand, Director Wei. We can set it up so that bosses drop clothing fragments—1 to 3 fragments per fight—and players need to collect 1000 fragments to exchange for a complete set.”

Zhao Bowen found Wei Yan’s suggestion very reasonable.

Even though Director Wei wasn’t a game industry veteran, he had an excellent grasp of player psychology and needs.

Tianlong’s current development had a lot to do with Director Wei’s key contributions.

    President Chen really was sharp.

He must have already seen that Director Wei could be a great asset to Cangxue Games, which is probably why he parachuted him into the role.

The two continued chatting casually about Tianlong.

    Suddenly, Zhao Bowen sighed.

“I heard Brother Fang came up with a new gameplay concept for that new project recently. No one knows what it is, but it’s a shame President Chen won’t let us get involved.”

“That plan is something Manager Fang had already been preparing. President Chen is just worried that our involvement might disrupt Manager Fang’s creative flow. Let’s just be patient and wait.”

Wei Yan replied calmly, then stood up and walked out of the office, heading straight to the staff studio.

After all, he still had to keep learning.

    …………

    Garment Factory Office,

“President Chen, the preparations for the new employee orientation training are complete. When would you like us to start?”

Tang Qiu sat across from Chen Mo and asked.

She had already prepared the training content over the weekend, but since President Chen was discussing a new project with Pang Tao earlier that morning, she didn’t bring it up until now.

    Finally, there was a chance.

“Let’s start tomorrow. For the specific time, you can ask Jiang Cheng to schedule it.”

    Chen Mo responded.

The HR department had already notified him that all 70 new employees had been hired.

Now that Tang Qiu had also finished preparing the training material, it was the perfect time to begin.

But what gave Chen Mo a bit of a headache was that after this round of training, Tang Qiu would likely come looking for more work. The problem was, he didn’t have anything left to assign.

What, should they keep doing legal education campaigns for the workshop staff? That would be way too frequent.

    Oh right!

Cangxue Games hadn’t done a legal education campaign yet.

Chen Mo smiled to himself. Next time she asked for work, he’d just have her go to Cangxue Games to handle it.

Plus, once the coffee shop and pet park were up and running, those companies would have staff too. They could also use some legal education, right?

“Then I’ll go back and prepare,” Tang Qiu said, eyeing Chen Mo with curiosity, wondering what amusing thought had just crossed his mind.

    “Alright.”

Chen Mo nodded, watching her leave.

Just as he was about to take a break, he saw Shen Rou approaching.

“President Chen, with the increase in workshop staff, one shuttle bus can’t fit everyone anymore.”

    “Oh!”

    Chen Mo immediately perked up.

How could he have forgotten such a simple way to spend money?

“If one coach bus isn’t enough, then buy another one. Just tell Li Shen to handle it. Get the same model as the current one.”

    “Understood!”

    Shen Rou nodded, then added,

“President Chen, those four newly hired fashion designers—Xu Yanning and the others—want to know when they can start working.”

Chen Mo thought for a moment. He had planned to place the fashion designers in the newly leased workshop.

But it hadn’t been renovated yet. That would take at least another month.

He looked up at Shen Rou.

“Let them know the fashion design studio still needs about a month for renovations. They can work from home for now. Also, in addition to their current pay, give each of them an extra 1500 yuan per month as a meal allowance.”

The other remote workers had meal allowances too, so these designers shouldn’t be treated any differently.

    …………

    University Dormitory.

“Yanning-jie, why haven’t we heard back from Assistant Shen yet?”

    Zhou Yu asked anxiously.

Ever since they signed the contracts with the garment factory, there hadn’t been any follow-up.

Several days had passed with no work assigned, even accounting for the two weekend days.

    Still, this was too weird.

Shouldn’t they at least be asked to show up for work?
