Ren Xin woke up, stretching lazily. She needed to save her energy for fighting monsters later, so she had to conserve her strength.

Her mom’s tone softened even more, “Mom loves you too.”

Ren Xin waited for her mom to leave, then her eyes flashed. Once her mom sat down at the dining table, She took a bite of congee and casually praised, “The congee you made is the best in the world. Thank you, Mom~”

“If you like something, Mom will make it for you.”

Ren Xin still felt something was off.

The sound of the door opening. The Mouth Cannon King was about to start firing. She needed to finish her congee quickly, she couldn’t waste it.

Things happened just like before. Her dad came home with a boy, introducing him nervously.

Before Ren Xin could get angry, her mom directly said, “Ren Pengfei, let’s get a divorce. This is your son, right? I know you’ve been cheating on me during our marriage. The woman you’ve been seeing even sent me a message, showing off. How foolish, and here you are, handing me the evidence directly.”

Ren Xin was stunned.

Ren Xin immediately interrupted, “According to biology, it’s a man’s responsibility if you can’t have a son. Dad, how are you so sure this boy is your biological son? You see, I’m very confident, because I look like you. As for this boy, he looks like he’s older than me…”

Ren Pengfei was shaken by Ren Xin’s words and kept scanning the boy up and down, as if trying to find something that resembled him.

The boy glared at Ren Xin and her mom with hatred, then sweetly called out to Ren Pengfei, “Dad~”

Her mom snorted coldly, “Ren Pengfei, if you don’t agree, we’ll see each other in court. I’ll send the court summons to your company.”

Ren Pengfei panicked upon hearing her seriousness. He also heard about the summons being sent to his company—this couldn’t happen!

Her mom calmly said, “That’s none of your business. If you agree to the conditions I mentioned earlier, we’ll go to the civil affairs bureau to get the certificate. If not, we’ll see each other in court. Ren Pengfei, every time I see you, I feel disgusted.”

Ren Pengfei couldn’t hold it together. She called him disgusting! Didn’t this woman know how good her prospects were now?

Her mom didn’t want to know; she just wanted to settle this quickly!
