Chapter 31: The Bathroom Is Blocked

In reality, conflicts between girls usually remain verbal spats.

Especially in crowded situations, girls tend to resolve conflicts with the least amount of effort possible.

Just like at the beginning, Sun Qian and Tian Yawen only wanted to confront someone and get an explanation.

But they didn’t expect the other party to be just as fierce.

In an instant, several girls gathered, and with some shoving and pushing, they all ended up inside the girls’ bathroom.

This left the boys outside feeling frustrated.

They crowded at the bathroom door, trying to hear what was happening inside.

But the bathroom door was already shut tight, and no sounds could be heard from within.

Only a few gossip-loving girls huddled near the door, eavesdropping.

At that moment, in Class One of Grade One—

Gao Ye sat on the inner windowsill, looking down at the commotion in the hallway outside the classroom, clicking his tongue in amusement.

    “Interesting, very interesting.”

As he spoke, he reminded the classmates behind him,

“Keep an eye out, don’t let anyone call a teacher.”

“It’s rare to have a show like this—don’t let a teacher ruin it.”

After saying that, Gao Ye’s gaze subconsciously landed on the boy sitting at the front of the class, his head buried in a book.

“Look at the main character himself—sitting right in the eye of the storm, yet completely unshaken.”

    “Calm as a fishing master.”

“Now that’s a true academic genius, right?”

His words were dripping with sarcasm, drawing laughter from those around him.

    But just then—

A short boy suddenly ran up to Gao Ye, panting heavily.

    “Brother Gao! S-She’s here too!”

“Who?” The acne-covered boy beside him asked in confusion.

    “Wu… Wutong Goddess…”

As soon as the words fell—

Gao Ye instantly jumped down from the windowsill, his face full of shock.

    “You mean Jiang Ning?!”

    “Y-Yeah!”

The short boy’s confirmation made Gao Ye realize something instantly. He raised his hand and smacked his thigh hard.

“Damn it! I totally forgot Jiang Ning is in Class Three too!”

    Immediately, he asked,

    “Where is she now?!”

    “S-She went in…”

Hearing this, Gao Ye’s face changed.

He knew perfectly well that Xu Li’s side in the girls’ bathroom had four people, while Class Three had only two.

Even with Jiang Ning joining them, it was still four against three—a definite disadvantage.

If a real fight broke out, Jiang Ning’s side would definitely suffer.

The thought of his goddess being bullied made Gao Ye restless. Without hesitation, he dashed toward the girls’ bathroom.

Meanwhile, news of Jiang Ning entering the first-floor girls’ bathroom spread at an inexplicable speed across other classrooms.

“Hey, did you hear? The girls from Class One and Class Three are fighting in the bathroom, and even the Wutong Goddess got dragged into it!”

“For real?! The goddess would actually fight? Let’s go check it out!”

In no time, many first-year students left their classrooms, some leaning over balcony railings to watch from above, others heading straight for the girls’ bathroom.

Soon, even the second-years caught wind of the news.

The words “Goddess Fight” swept through the hallways like a storm, spreading rapidly to the upper floors.

In Class Two of Grade Two—

Li Mingwei sat at his desk, focused on solving one difficult problem after another in his workbook.

Each time he conquered a tough question, it felt like he could see a certain girl smiling proudly at him, saying, “You’re amazing.”

That radiant smile left Li Mingwei completely entranced.

But just as he was about to tackle the next problem—

Hu Gugu’s anxious voice reached his ears.

“Brother Wei! Jiang Ning is fighting someone!”

    What?!

    A fight?!

Li Mingwei thought he had misheard. But when he saw the same shocked expression on Hu Gugu’s face, he immediately stood up.

Without a word, he shoved his chair aside and ran out, with Hu Gugu rushing after him.

Meanwhile, in Class Nine of Grade One—

Tao Tao sat by the window, completely absorbed in sketching rabbits on his desk.

Some rabbits were reading, some were eating carrots, some were smiling, and others were goofing around. Most of them were playing basketball.

    Cute and chubby.

Just as he finished drawing an angry rabbit and was admiring his work—

He overheard a conversation from the hallway outside.

“Hey, did you hear? That Wutong Goddess from Class Three got trapped in the bathroom!”

    “Huh? Why?”

“I heard she stole someone’s boyfriend and got caught, so they blocked her inside.”

    “For real?! Let’s go see!”

    Wutong Goddess…?

Tao Tao was dazed for a moment before realizing who they were talking about.

    His brows furrowed.

    Stole a boyfriend?

With her looks, would she even need to steal someone’s boyfriend?

Tao Tao immediately sensed something was off. But now wasn’t the time to analyze the situation.

After thinking for a moment, he decided to do something.

But considering the limitations of a girls’ bathroom, Tao Tao steadied himself and nudged his deskmate—a short-haired, androgynously dressed girl.

    “Xiazhi, I need a favor.”

When Xiazhi, chewing gum, arrived at the first-floor hallway with two of her friends—

A huge crowd had already gathered outside.

There were boys and girls, even second-years.

At first, Xiazhi was curious about why so many people were blocking the hallway—

Then, a deep male voice rang out, accompanied by loud banging on the door.

    “BANG! BANG! BANG!”

    “Students inside, open the door!”

“I’m the disciplinary director! We received a report that there’s a fight happening in the bathroom!”

“Hurry up and open the door!”

    “BANG! BANG! BANG!!”

The bathroom door seemed to be locked tightly—even after such forceful knocking, it didn’t budge.

Seeing that teachers were now involved, a tall girl beside Xiazhi lowered her head and asked,

“Sis, looks like we’re not needed anymore. Should we leave?”

“Let’s wait a bit longer,” Xiazhi said in a low voice, then led her group to the bathroom entrance.

Truth be told, this was the first time she had ever heard Tao Tao praise a girl’s basketball skills so much.

    And now, with this fight—

She really did sound like a special girl.

By now, Xiazhi and her friends had used their advantage as girls to squeeze past the crowd and get to the bathroom door.

Inside, the disciplinary director was still banging on the door—

But his words had shifted from persuasion to outright threats.

“Students inside! If you don’t open the door by the count of three—”

    “You will bear the consequences!”

    “Three!”

    “Two!”

At the count of three, the disciplinary director exchanged a nod with the towering gym teacher beside him.

At the count of two, the gym teacher took several steps back.

    “One!!”

As the final count fell, the gym teacher suddenly charged at the door.

    However—

Just as his body was about to slam into it—

    Suddenly—

    “Click.”

The sound of a lock turning echoed.

And then, the bathroom door slowly swung open…
