Chapter 7: The Overbearing CEO’s White Lotus (Part 7)

Yao Yishu was dumbfounded on the spot.

Yu Liuxue was dragged backstage by Lin Qingyin, where her assistant was unceremoniously sent out by Lin Qingyin. The moment the door closed, Lin Qingyin’s kisses fell thick and fast. She gently and methodically kissed Yu Liuxue’s lips, the center of her lips, her chin, her collarbone, leaving no spot untouched.

The woman’s hoarse voice, combined with her scorching breath, melted into Yu Liuxue’s skin, creating rippling waves of tingling sensation.

Involuntarily, Yu Liuxue spread her legs and hooked them around Lin Qingyin’s ankle. She was overwhelmed, her voice was soft as she called Lin Qingyin’s name, “Qingyin, don’t.”

The dressing room wasn’t soundproof. A little noise inside could be heard clearly outside. Although Yu Liuxue didn’t mind, Lin Qingyin was an icy, noble, and stunning star; if this got out, it might ruin her image.

Thankfully, even though they had been apart for a while and Lin Qingyin missed Yu Liuxue, her rationality held.

She tightly gripped Yu Liuxue’s waist, pinning her on the sofa, forbidding her from moving.

Lin Qingyin’s voice was low, “Qingwu, why haven’t you been contacting me?”

    “I’ve missed you so much.”

    “Day and night.”

Yu Liuxue inwardly screamed: I miss you too! I miss your… body a lot.

On the outside, Yu Liuxue pitifully tugged Lin Qingyin’s shirt hem, her lipstick-smudged lips barely parted. After a moment’s thought, she closed them again. After a while, Lin Qingyin finally heard her say something indifferent and heartless, “Qingyin, you’re a good person, but…”

Anger surged in Lin Qingyin’s eyes, and Yu Liuxue instinctively shrunk her neck, quickly adding, “But we’re both girls…”

“Were you dissatisfied with me before?” Lin Qingyin asked expressionlessly.

    Yu Liuxue: “What?”

Lin Qingyin leaned closer, her entire body pressing down on hers, and enunciated, “Previously, during the program filming, were you dissatisfied with my performance?”

    Satisfied, incredibly satisfied!

Yu Liuxue snuck a glance at her but couldn’t find any words.

    Lin Qingyin suddenly felt invaded.

She decisively stood up and locked the door from the inside, then pinned Yu Liuxue onto the sofa, lifting her skirt. Yu Liuxue made a symbolic struggle, the silver chain on her ankle tinkling.

    “Qingyin, there are people outside…”

    “They might notice.”

    So satisfying! Absolutely satisfying!

Yu Liuxue lay weakly on the sofa. After the feast, the elegant “big cat” sorted out her dress and grabbed a makeup kit to carefully remove the lipstick stains from Yu Liuxue’s mouth, chin, and body. Then, she domineeringly scooped Yu Liuxue up, “Come home with me. I’ll take responsibility for you.”

Yu Liuxue buried her head, softly murmuring.

Lin Qingyin assumed she was too embarrassed to lift her head. She nonchalantly carried Yu Liuxue out to the car and coolly told the driver, “Head home.”

Even after witnessing the changes between the two women, Yao Yishu was still unwilling to give up.

He believed that marrying Lin Qingyin would make his family stronger.

Elevating them to legendary status as relatives of royalty.

Lin Qingyin’s icy countenance softened a bit as she looked down, her voice turning gentle as she soothingly patted Yu Liuxue’s back on and off. Lin Qingyin was content with today’s outcome, so her tone lost that icy shard quality, “Qingwu, I’ll genuinely treat you well.”

Yu Liuxue absentmindedly replied with a hum, leading Lin Qingyin to close her mouth in silence.

Yu Liuxue was yearning, thinking about when she could become Lin Qingyin’s pampered canary. But upon arriving at Lin Qingyin’s home, she was horrified to see the living room bookshelves packed with colorful novels like “The Unparalleled Pet: The Cold King’s Forsaken Concubine,” “The Bossy CEO’s Deep Love: Woman, Don’t Run,” “The CEO’s Seven-Day Lover,” and more, filling an entire wall.

“Don’t you like reading this kind of novel?” Lin Qingyin nonchalantly pulled out a book, “The Cold CEO’s Heartless Wife.” She slowly flipped it open and placed the black-and-white page in front of Yu Liuxue. Yu Liuxue glanced over it quickly and almost fainted.

A werewolf CEO multitasking on a staircase, my hat’s off to you.

Yu Liuxue’s reaction delighted Lin Qingyin. She chuckled lightly and put the book back, her voice flat and emotionless as she whispered in Yu Liuxue’s ear, “I particularly asked my assistant to find these books for me. Every time I thought of you, I read one. It was then I realized this is what you like.”

Lin Qingyin’s voice was cool and unhurried; Yu Liuxue’s scalp tingled as she listened. Yu Liuxue stammered and asked the system, “Love System, am I dreaming?”

The system was evaluating Lin Qingyin’s status; upon seeing this, it intended to console Yu Liuxue with a few gadgets. But before it could speak, Yu Liuxue said, “This really is—”

    “Exactly to my liking!”

“After completing my mission, can I just stay here at Lin Qingyin’s?”

    System: “…” Get lost! (ノ`Д)ノ

Lin Qingyin subtly observed Yu Liuxue’s every move. Noticing her distracted state, Lin Qingyin’s desire for praise dropped significantly. She wrapped her arms around Yu Liuxue, leading her away from the bookshelf, and sat down with her, asking, “Are you uncomfortable somewhere?”

Yu Liuxue was still wearing the dress borrowed from the brand for the event. Cherishing it, she lifted the hem slightly, revealing her two snow-white ankles, and softly said, “I have to return this dress to the brand tomorrow.”

Lin Qingyin’s eyes showed an unreadable emotion. In her arms sat the person who haunted her dreams nightly, and yet it boiled down to a mere dress.

“If you like, I’ll gift you a whole wardrobe full.”

Finally, Lin Qingyin revealed her true colors. Yu Liuxue protested softly but succumbed, pretending to reluctantly accept.

    Afterwards.

Lin Qingyin seemed never to tire of watching Yu Liuxue’s rosy lips, gently asking, “Qingwu, during this time, did you think of me?”

    Even once would be enough.

Yu Liuxue, comfortably pampered, slightly opened her eyes and weakly nodded, “Qingyin, you’re my best friend.”

This statement immediately angered Lin Qingyin. She thoroughly disciplined Yu Liuxue, only relenting once Yu Liuxue thoroughly begged for mercy, and then calmly left, neatly dressed.

Yu Liuxue lay on her side, holding her waist, lips trembling, “How many novels has Lin Qingyin read behind my back? So many tricks.”

The system almost wanted to ask, didn’t you quite enjoy them? But knowing any interaction with Yu Liuxue always left it infuriated, it opted to activate “do not disturb mode,” for peace of mind.

Once Lin Qingyin left, Yu Liuxue idly picked up her phone. The reality show had been produced and begun promoting. There were six participants altogether, and in the promo poster, Lin Qingyin and Yu Liuxue were front and center, which ignited heated fan debates over who claimed the center spot.

“Some wannabe doesn’t even weigh her worth in the mirror. Even if she’s given the center, she might not handle it.”

“Even as a passerby, I can’t stand it. Why can’t it be double centers?”

“Please know, fandoms have no bystanders.”

“Du Qingwu and Lin Qingyin sharing the center? Is that possible?”

Yu Liuxue read it all gleefully, scrolling to the end. She asked the system pitifully, “Why are young girls so sharp-tongued now? If Lin Qingyin’s behind me, I must be the center, right?”

System: “Don’t tell me, tell your fans.”

Yu Liuxue thought that made sense. So she retweeted with a comment: “I’ve enjoyed my time with Qingyin, and the poster is beautiful. Thanks”

    Have you no shame!

Lin Qingyin’s fans were furious, tearing into Qingwu, and the war tilted heavily against Qingwu’s side. Her fans quickly retreated, silenced, trembling in corners. The show, however, was pleased with the current state, delighted the fandoms were so aggressively battling, knowing it boosted the show’s hype. They even went as far as to hire water armies to cause more chaos, pushing Qingwu to the trending hot list.

Yu Liuxue casually munched on crystal buns, hopping back and forth in the chaotic arena, even using a side account to reignite dampened conflicts with an 800-meter dash.

System: “…” That’s really not necessary.

Yao Yishu was almost livid. That brainless, vicious Du Qingwu; how dare she outshine Qingyin now? Yet before he could act, Lin Qingyin suddenly appeared at the bar.

One of his friends nudged him with an elbow. Yao Yishu looked over, instantly perked up upon spotting Lin Qingyin.

“Qingyin, you’re here! What would you like to drink…?”

Lin Qingyin was always straightforward. She couldn’t be bothered with Yao Yishu’s roundabout ways, bluntly stating in front of everyone: “Yao Yishu, stay out of my personal business from now on.”

Yao Yishu was still unwilling, “Qingyin?”

“If I catch you bullying Qingwu again… no, if I hear of you bothering Qingwu at all, your Yao family won’t fare well.”

Lin Qingyin delivered her warning and left. Yao Yishu stood there, stunned, instinctively rushing to catch up with Lin Qingyin, gripping her wrist tightly, his face dark, “Qingyin, tell me clearly what you mean by this.”

Forced to stop, Lin Qingyin turned back, a mocking smile playing at her lips, “I thought I made it quite clear.”

    “Qingwu is my woman.”

“So please, keep your distance from my woman.”

Lin Qingyin shook him off, deliberately lowering her chilled voice, “What I despise most is anyone touching my belongings, especially you, Yao Yishu.”
