After the Villain Awakens, He Become the Enemy’s Favorite Through Misunderstanding

Liu Ming is a cannon-fodder villain in a hot-blooded, youth-oriented, post-apocalyptic story with no romance pairing. But he himself doesn’t know that.

As the heir of the Liu family, the administrators of District One, Liu Ming spends every day half out of his mind picking fights with the protagonist group. Every time, he loses face and embarrasses himself, and he doesn’t even care when he gets hurt…

Liu Ming: Hiss… wait, something’s not right, is it?
If the protagonist group is strong, that should be a good thing for the Tower, right? As the Liu family’s heir, why would he keep provoking those people every day when they’re both powerful and hiding dangerous secrets?!
Is it because he’s jealous of them?
He’s a Guide—jealous of a bunch of Sentinels? Is he sick or something?

No matter how much Liu Ming thinks about it, he can’t make sense of it. Fortunately, the suddenly appearing floating comments before his eyes reveal the truth. After studying the “plot” through those comments all night, Liu Ming arrives at a conclusion:

He really is sick.
The name of the illness is Plot.

All the abnormal things he has done were merely “plot developments” arranged by the strings of the storyline.

Before those strings lead him—as this cannon-fodder villain—to commit some unforgivable act and then die horribly, devoured by countless anomalies, Liu Ming decides he needs to do something for his future.

He looks at the paths mentioned in the comments—the possible ways for him to survive:

1. Reform himself, become the protagonist group’s lackey, and turn completely into comic relief.
The proud Young Master Liu shakes his head. Pass!
2. Stay evil all the way to the end, and then get beaten into the sky by the protagonist group together with the final boss.
Young Master Liu: I’d still like to stay alive and inherit the family fortune. Can I get another option?

Luckily, not long after the floating comments appeared, his grandfather hands him an anomaly calling itself the Misunderstanding Value System.

[Congratulations, Host, on binding to the T231 Misunderstanding Value System! As long as you obtain Misunderstanding Value, you can remove the plot strings attached to your body and change your tragic predetermined fate!
Misunderstanding Value is not limited to any one type. Please explore freely, Host!]

Liu Ming raises an eyebrow. “Misunderstanding Value…?”

And so… the cannon-fodder villain gets a bold idea.

As a qualified member of the Liu family, an investor who values profit and utility above all else, he will make those fools favored by destiny into his sharpest blades.

He won’t just join the protagonist group—he’ll become a morally gray figure who walks both the righteous and villainous paths, collecting misunderstanding value from both heroes and villains alike!

After all… the plot he wants to change isn’t just his own.
