Lin Qingyin’s slightly upturned eyebrows and eyes exuded an intimidating aura, while her deep, affectionate gaze made Yu Liuxue’s mind go blank. Yu Liuxue’s eyes were unfocused as she stared at Lin Qingyin’s half-smiling face, her heart trembling as if under her intense scrutiny.
So beautiful.
Even with such a cold demeanor, she looked so good that it was hard to take one’s eyes off her.
Yu Liuxue forced a slightly awkward yet polite smile and lowered her lashes to seriously scroll through her phone, attempting to find the hate post she had just seen to show Lin Qingyin, proving that she wasn’t lying. Lin Qingyin’s gaze was so imposing and aggressive that the more Yu Liuxue tried to find it, the more random things she accidentally scrolled through.
“Even though Lin Qingyin has a cool demeanor, I think she’s the type who acts tough without saying much—definitely an alpha!”
“Qing Wu, blinded by jealousy and turned into a strong domineering personality after turning dark, Lin Qingyin can’t resist her and willingly becomes the receiver.”
“I bet a hundred bucks Lin Qingyin is on top…”
Lin Qingyin’s eyes narrowed slightly, resembling two curved, sharp crescents, with a “swishing” murderous aura brushing across Yu Liuxue’s skin. Yu Liuxue continued to feign effort in searching for the post she had seen, saying, “Qingyin, there was really someone named Qingyin Little Bun who was cursing me just now. I wasn’t lying. Wait a moment, I’ll find it for you.”
She lowered her head, her long black hair cascading over her neck, her profile serene and enchanting.
Lin Qingyin reached out and pressed down on the phone screen, her voice carrying a subtle tone, “Qing wu…”
Yu Liuxue looked up, her small expression conveying grievance, and Lin Qingyin gazed at her for a few moments before sighing inwardly in compromise.
“No need to look anymore. I believe you.”
The person before her suddenly blossomed into a bright, beautiful smile, as if flowers had unexpectedly bloomed, leaving Lin Qingyin momentarily dazed. Without a word, she suddenly walked away. Yu Liuxue thoughtfully rested her chin in her hand and called upon the system, “My love, show me the ending between Lin Qingyin and Yao Yishu.”
The system pretended not to hear her affectionate terms and swiftly pulled up the information, displaying it before Yu Liuxue.
Tilting her head, with a lock of black hair twisted around her ear, Yu Liuxue came to a realization, “So Lin Qingyin doesn’t like Yao Yishu.”
“My love, tell me, does Lin Qingyin not like Yao Yishu or does she not like men?”
Even though it’s just a difference of a few words, the implications are significant.
The system’s exasperated voice resonated in Yu Liuxue’s mind again, “Remember, you promised not to seduce the target.”
“Mm? My love, look at that house in the distance. Doesn’t it resemble the little black room you’re about to enter?”
The system: “…”
Old habits die hard; if the host stops causing trouble for a day, it will stream itself swallowing a knife.
Initially, Qing Wu didn’t want to participate in this variety show. The news of Lin Qingyin being pursued aggressively by Yao Yishu was annoying enough. If she had to face the detestable rival’s face at work every day, it would be beyond irritating.
Even though she was reluctant, her influence was minimal, and eventually, she couldn’t resist against the company’s decision, forcing her to participate in the reality show.
Today was the first day of filming, with half a month ahead to spend with Lin Qingyin. After understanding the situation, Yu Liuxue was so overjoyed that she almost cried tears of joy, wishing she could jump up, spin around, and throw herself into Lin Qingyin’s arms to act coquettishly.
The system looked at Yu Liuxue with a dumbfounded expression, unable to resist reminding her, “Host, please don’t forget your mission.”
“My mission? I remember, I just have to stop Lin Qingyin and Yao Yishu from being together. If Lin Qingyin can’t date Yao Yishu, can’t she date me instead?”
The system was speechless.
During filming, six guests confirmed their roommates through a game. Yu Liuxue was furious, drawing a lower-grade room, but the only comfort was that Lin Qingyin also drew a lower-grade room. The expression on everyone’s faces was peculiar, their gazes continuously flickering between Yu Liuxue and Lin Qingyin, suspecting this arrangement was deliberate by the program team.
How come the two people who had recently been at each other’s throats ended up living together?
The program team had truly sinister intentions!
Yu Liuxue, on the other hand, didn’t overthink it. She happily dragged her suitcase to the room marked “Lower,” pushing the door open to find Lin Qingyin, with her back to the door, bending over to make the bed. Unlike the room where she had just been resting, this room had only one small bed measuring 1.5 meters, meaning…
She and Lin Qingyin would have to share the same bed.
This was such a happy thought, Yu Liuxue secretly mused.
Lin Qingyin noticed her presence. After making the bed, she gestured for Yu Liuxue to come in, “The program stops providing hot water at eleven. You should shower first.”
Yu Liuxue quickly dropped her suitcase and hurried forward, “Let me help you put the quilt cover on first.”
“No need…” Lin Qingyin refused, but Yu Liuxue insisted. In the end, Yu Liuxue, while embracing Lin Qingyin, lost her balance and fell onto the freshly made bed. Their long hair entwined, and Yu Liuxue’s lips ended up pressing right onto the center of Lin Qingyin’s lips, making her tongue tingle.
She took a gentle breath, feeling a mix of emotions.
Lin Qingyin looked at her for a long moment, then gently pried Yu Liuxue’s teeth apart with her slender fingers, leaning close to examine her tongue, “Where did you hit it?”
The moist, soft tip of her tongue brushed against her finger, sending a peculiar sensation through Lin Qingyin’s skin. Yu Liuxue’s eyes filled with moisture, the discomfort leading her to wriggle slightly, “I’m fine.”
The position of leaning over Lin Qingyin wasn’t exactly graceful, and Yu Liuxue still hoped to maintain a good impression in front of Lin Qingyin for the sake of courting her in the future. Unexpectedly, Lin Qingyin suddenly clasped the back of her head, pressing Yu Liuxue’s face down, her cool voice tinged with a trace of huskiness.
“Qing Wu,” she called Yu Liuxue’s name softly.
Yu Liuxue shivered at being called that.
She lowered her lashes and gazed at Lin Qingyin, who lay beneath her, her expression calm. Her lashes cast shallow shadows like small fans over her pupils. Lin Qingyin pulled her fingers from where they had been at Yu Liuxue’s jaw, now methodically tracing the swollen and reddened center of Yu Liuxue’s lips.
“Qing Wu,” Lin Qingyin called again.
Yu Liuxue meekly responded, “Qingyin?”
“Are you trying to seduce me?”
Lin Qingyin’s tone was mild, devoid of discernible emotion. Her gaze brushed lightly over Yu Liuxue’s lips before ultimately settling into Yu Liuxue’s beautiful black eyes.
Lin Qingyin continued to nonchalantly press, “Well?”
You figured it out? Yu Liuxue’s brows lifted with a hint of delight.
The system, expressionless, interrupted Yu Liuxue, “Host, first warning.”
Yu Liuxue: “…” Alright then.
Yu Liuxue forced a look of naive innocence onto her face, answering woodenly, “Qingyin, what are you talking about? You’re a girl, and I’m a girl, and Brother Yishu is so crazy about you. Why on earth would I compete with him for a girl?”
“If Brother Yishu found out I was seducing you, he’d be mad.”
As soon as those words fell, the air around Lin Qingyin grew icy, and she gazed coldly at Yu Liuxue, “What do our matters have to do with Yao Yishu?”
“Still lingering on thoughts of that man?”
Sensing signs of Lin Qingyin turning dark, Yu Liuxue couldn’t help but want to cheer. Although inwardly joyous, she still played it up, acting heartbroken, gingerly caressing Lin Qingyin’s face, gently probing, “Qingyin, are you mad at me?”
“I didn’t mean it like that.”
Lin Qingyin closed her eyes, taking a deep breath, suppressing the cold atmosphere around her. When she opened them again, Lin Qingyin had returned to her usual calm demeanor, nudging Yu Liuxue aside as she rose, “It’s late. Go shower. We have filming tomorrow, so get some rest.”
Yu Liuxue took her sleepwear and entered the bathroom. After undressing, she stood under the warm shower, her expression turning a tad disappointed when she asked the system, “My love, do you think Lin Qingyin likes me?”
System: Shutting down.
Without receiving a response from the system, Yu Liuxue awkwardly continued to wash, cleansing her hair and body. After changing into her nightwear, she walked out of the bathroom, her hair slightly damp. Lin Qingyin was not there, and the room felt empty. Yu Liuxue asked the other guests in the group if Lin Qingyin had gone to someone else’s room, but everyone denied it.
Where did Lin Qingyin go? Could it be that she was scared off by me?
It wasn’t until deep into the night that Lin Qingyin finally returned, wrapped in a coat, with residual anger and fatigue at her brow. Yu Liuxue immediately jumped out of bed to greet her, “Where did you go, Qingyin? I’ve been waiting for you all night.”
Lin Qingyin’s gaze fixated on her, the sharpness returning to her eyes after a moment’s pause.
In her bewilderment, Yu Liuxue couldn’t help but secretly anticipate, Am I about to be disciplined by Lin Qingyin on-the-spot?
Lin Qingyin pushed Yu Liuxue against the corner, kissed her fragrant, soft lips aggressively, remembering three years ago when both Qing Wu and she were rookies. Back then, Qing Wu, blushing with eyes wide, brought a piece of paper stealthily to Lin Qingyin, stuttering as she handed it over, “Hello, I’m your fan, could you please autograph this for me?”
Lin Qingyin glanced at her blankly, causing her to flush even deeper, quickly lowering her head to stare at her toes, holding her breath. From Lin Qingyin’s height, she could see the white skin on the back of Qing Wu’s neck and her two ears so red they looked about to bleed.
Qing Wu was Lin Qingyin’s type—easily embarrassed and prone to blushing, soft and sweet.
Back then, Du Qingwu and Yao Yishu were still engaged. No matter how much Lin Qingyin liked someone, she wouldn’t stoop to being the third wheel in someone’s relationship. Furthermore, as she gained popularity, her schedule became too hectic, leaving little room for fleeting emotions.
Yet today, three years later, Qing Wu subtly hinted: What about Yao Yishu?
What does Yao Yishu have to do with her!
Nestled in the corner, overjoyed, every cell in Yu Liuxue’s being reveled in finally moving on to the main event!
Yu Liuxue, amid pleasure, mildly resisted in Lin Qingyin’s embrace, tiny moans escaping her lips as they pressed together, “Qingyin…”
Lin Qingyin delivered a punishing bite to her tongue, quickly quelling Yu Liuxue’s struggles, leaving her obediently nestled, subject to affection.
The room’s temperature steadily rose, Yu Liuxue’s cheeks blooming with two red hues, her lips red and glossy, hinting at moisture, looking pitiably at Lin Qingyin, disbelief filling her eyes as she pulled at Lin Qingyin’s clothing tearfully, “Qingyin, what’s gotten into you? Is it because Brother Yishu…”
Lin Qingyin’s breathing gradually calmed. She tilted Yu Liuxue’s chin up, her voice eerily steady, “Du Qingwu, did you and Yao Yishu team up to toy with me?”
Yu Liuxue’s eyes blanked—what kind of plot twist was this? How did she and Yao Yishu end up conspiring to deceive Lin Qingyin’s feelings? She desperately wanted to clear things up with Yao Yishu, to never cross paths again.
“Are you two pulling this one-aggressive, one-antagonistic act to force me into the Yao family?”
She wasn’t, she didn’t! No false accusations!
She had nothing to do with Yao Yishu!
Qingyin, listen to me explain…
Just as Yu Liuxue intended to speak, Lin Qingyin unexpectedly released her, only to promptly scoop her up, carrying her towards the small bed.
