She’s Crazy C13

Su Zai Zai Fairy’s Diary
He seems to touch his neck whenever he lies.
Su Zai Zai was dumbfounded.
So… he thought that her bringing him water, along with taking pictures and recording videos, was all just because she coveted that silver medal in his hand?
The way a great beauty thinks is truly unique…
Su Zai Zai licked the corner of her lips.
She watched his back and obediently did not follow him.
She stood in place for a moment before turning around and slowly walking back toward her class tent.
As she walked, she recalled the scene from just now.
He had stepped forward, his face devoid of emotion.
He carried the scent of sunlight, mixed with a faint trace of sweat.
It smelled especially good.
When he placed the medal over her head, his fingertips inadvertently brushed against her hair.
And when he spoke, his soft breath swept over her.
Su Zai Zai clutched the silver medal tightly, her face suddenly burning hot.
Even her heart began to race.
—
On the other side.
Ye Zhenxin’s expression was not looking good. She joked, “Zhang Lurang, is she your friend?”
Zhang Lurang didn’t answer.
Another girl immediately followed up, “Why did you give her the silver medal?”
Zhang Lurang paused for a moment and said indifferently, “She wanted it.”
If he didn’t give it to her, she would have pestered him endlessly.
…Consider it as repaying her for that bottle of water.
But the girls clearly misinterpreted his words.
Ye Zhenxin’s face turned as dark as could be, and she immediately turned around and walked off in another direction.
One of the girls followed after her.
The remaining two girls exchanged awkward smiles and shifted the topic to tonight’s Campus Night event.

After the afternoon competition, Su Zai Zai went to the cafeteria with Jiang Jia for dinner.
Since there were still activities in the evening, she was afraid of getting sweaty, so she didn’t go back to shower and instead returned straight to her class.
Su Zai Zai wasn’t participating in her class’s performance for Campus Night but was instead part of the Tech Festival’s Eco-Friendly Fashion Exhibition.
Each class had to make two outfits and send one male and one female model to showcase them on the runway—the opening act of Campus Night.
Su Zai Zai went to the restroom to change into her prepared dress.
The dress reached just above mid-thigh, mainly beige in color, adorned with paper-folded flowers forming a delicate floral pattern. A sheer white ribbon cinched the waist, and the skirt was layered with mosquito netting, giving it a puffy, playful look.
She wanted to check herself out in the mirror, but the arts committee member, Huang Yuanjuan, dragged her back to class for makeup and hairstyling.
While Huang Yuanjuan applied her makeup, Jiang Jia gathered all of Su Zai Zai’s hair into a fishtail braid that draped from behind her ear down to her chest.
Then, she clipped over a dozen tiny floral hairpins into the braid.
Her movements were swift, finishing in no time. She then sat to the side, watching as Huang Yuanjuan continued with Su Zai Zai’s makeup. “By the way, Zai Zai, did you bring heels?”
Su Zai Zai nodded and spoke when Huang Yuanjuan’s hands left her face for a moment. “Yeah, I brought a black pair. My mom bought them for me. I feel like I’m going to be 1.8 meters tall in them.”
Jiang Jia sighed, “Being tall isn’t always good. It’s harder to find a boyfriend.”
Su Zai Zai felt attacked.
She let out a scoff and retorted defiantly, “As if being short guarantees you’ll find one.”
“…”
Besides, how tall is the great beauty? And he’s still single.

Since it was the first performance of the night, Su Zai Zai went directly backstage upon arrival.
Her male counterpart for the runway show was Guan Han.
His outfit wasn’t nearly as refined as hers—just as she had expected, it was a hastily crafted ensemble made from black plastic bags.
When Guan Han saw her, he was nearly outraged. “Damn, this is so unfair!”
Su Zai Zai shamelessly reassured him, “It’s fine, you still look handsome in this.”
“…Haha.”
“Suddenly, I feel like we’re in some kind of stage play.”
“…What?”
“The little fairy rescuing the beggar.”
“Get lost!”
Ten minutes remained before the show began.
Bored, Su Zai Zai wandered over to a backstage staff member and peeked at the program schedule in his hand.
1. Eco-Friendly Fashion Show
2. Grade 11, Class 13 Solo Performance – Ambiguity
3. Grade 10, Class 1 Play – When You Get Robbed
Su Zai Zai: “…”
So… what role was Zhang Lurang playing?
A victim of a crime of passion?
Su Zai Zai imagined Zhang Lurang being tormented in her mind and immediately covered her nose.
She took a deep breath to dispel the image.
After what felt like an eternity of speeches, upbeat music finally played.
The show order followed the sequence of classes, from lower to higher grades, and from Class 1 to the last.
So, Grade 10, Class 1 went first.
One male and one female model walked in from opposite sides of the stage, meeting in the center. When they were about a meter apart, they turned and walked toward the audience before taking their final positions.
Each pair didn’t take long, and soon, it was Su Zai Zai’s turn.
Except for her shoes, her entire outfit was in soft, light tones. This delicate color scheme did nothing to tone down her bold presence—if anything, it made her stand out even more.
She and Guan Han had rehearsed earlier.
When they reached the front, Su Zai Zai was supposed to turn slightly, facing the audience head-on.
Guan Han would then kneel on one knee, hold her hand, and pretend to kiss it.
The moment passed quickly, and the two separated, moving into their final poses.
At last, it was time to exit the stage.
Su Zai Zai let out a relieved breath and followed the planned route backstage.
As soon as she got there, she immediately spotted Zhang Lurang standing off to the side, waiting for his turn.
Su Zai Zai’s eyes lit up, and she called out, “Zhang Lurang!”
Zhang Lurang ignored her. He leaned against the wall, looking a bit lazy, lost in thought.
Su Zai Zai walked over and seized the moment to explain, “That guy you competed with today—everyone in my class calls him ‘Nan God,’ with the ‘Nan’ from ‘Nan Gua’ (pumpkin).”
Zhang Lurang lifted his eyes slightly.
Su Zai Zai thought for a moment before adding, “But I never call him that.”
He didn’t care much and casually asked, “Then who were you calling?”
Hearing this, Su Zai Zai’s heart started pounding.
Did he hear her call him “male god” back then?
He really heard it?
Su Zai Zai swallowed and instinctively looked away.
At crucial moments, she always chickened out.
She wanted to say it, but she didn’t dare.
…No, this won’t do.
You can’t be timid when chasing a man!
Su Zai Zai bit her lip, steeled herself, and said, “You.”
Zhang Lu Rang fell silent.
The moment the words left her mouth, the nervousness vanished.
Su Zai Zai’s courage surged. She lifted her head and repeated seriously, “I was calling you.”
The atmosphere instantly quieted.
At that moment, Su Zai Zai seemed to hear nothing else. She was wholly focused on waiting for his reaction.
But waiting was torturous.
Courage was like the air pumped into a balloon.
A balloon made of plastic, fragile and easy to pop—one glance from him was enough to pierce it.
With a “pop,” it disappeared into thin air.
Zhang Lu Rang parted his lips, about to say something, but Su Zai Zai cut him off.
Fidgeting, she pinched her fingertips, and before she could think, the words blurted out.
“But maybe you didn’t hear me clearly while running. I actually said ‘male god—psycho.’”
Zhang Lu Rang: “…”
Still chickened out…
And made things even worse.
Su Zai Zai hung her head in frustration, utterly speechless at herself.
She pretended nothing had happened, pointed at herself, and changed the subject. “Do I look good?”
Zhang Lu Rang remained silent, completely unwilling to entertain her.
“Am I stunning or what?! People were screaming when I stepped on stage!”
Su Zai Zai just wanted him to forget what she had just said. Her mind was a mess, and she was rambling nonsense.
Zhang Lu Rang: “…”
Cautiously, she lifted her head to check his expression.
He didn’t seem angry…
Su Zai Zai let out a sigh of relief.
But she also noticed that he still wasn’t looking at her, which made her feel a bit down.
She mumbled discontentedly, “Looking at me won’t cost you money.”
Hearing this, Zhang Lu Rang suddenly found it amusing.
He finally lowered his gaze and looked at her seriously.
His eyes traced from her rosy lips to her delicate nose, finally landing on her bright, clear eyes.
They were dazzling and bold, like embedded glass.
Moist and smiling, as if they could pull people in.
His heart jolted.
Caught off guard, he quickly averted his gaze.
Since Zhang Lu Rang didn’t respond, Su Zai Zai changed the question. “Do I not look good?”
A few seconds later—
“Mm,” Zhang Lu Rang hummed in a low voice.
Su Zai Zai didn’t mind, tilting her head up with a grin. “Your taste is awful.”
Zhang Lu Rang ignored her.
He lowered his gaze, his thick lashes concealing his emotions.
The dim light made it hard to see his expression clearly.
Shadows flickered.
But his actions were unmistakable, impossible to ignore.
Su Zai Zai saw him lift his hand.
Slowly, as if he was calm and composed, he touched the back of his neck.
Just for a brief moment.
